Welcome to the Williamtown/Newcastle Area
Hi and welcome to the Newcastle area. My name is Carolyn Watson and I am the local Defence Special Needs Coordinator.
Newcastle is the capital of the Hunter Valley and is Australia's second oldest city and Australia's sixth largest. The main Defence establishments are RAAF Base Williamtown and Bullecourt Barracks at Adamstown.
DSNSG Williamtown supports Defence families with special needs in the Newcastle, Adamstown, Maitland and Port Stephens areas. Our group holds regular coffee mornings and family and social events and by linking in to us, you have access to the wider support, information and assistance that is available throughout our network.
Joining in with the groups in the Sydney area, we have lots of fun activities planned for 2012 - all at heavily subsidized prices
