Welcome to the Amberley / Ipswich area
DSNSG Amberley covers families living in the Ipswich and surrounding areas including Forest Lake and Springfields Lakes.
Ipswich is situated only about 45 minutes west of Brisbane and is the location of Amberley Air Force Base, the largest operational base in Australia. Families with special needs moving into this area need to be aware that where they are housed may affect the type of services and support they require with certain locations being in the Ipswich region and other locations in the Brisbane region. For more information about the Ipswich area have a look at the handy 'Welcome to Amberley' booklet compiled by DCO.
Our group currently doesn't have a local Coordinator but families are advised of events and workshops via email, so please contact the National Office on 1800 037 674 or email to find out what is happening in the area and to go on our mailing list.
